Riddick

Earlier today , me and my best-friends went to watch a movie at the mall . we couldn't make it in time for the movie we originally planned on seeing so we settled for our only option and bought five tickets to watch a movie with a fairly strange name : Riddick .

Now the movie is quite interesting with a cool story . Not that original but still captivating .
One thing i hated about the movie was the scenes of female nudity . It's  not just because i was raised to strongly disagree with such scandalous things but also because these scenes did not serve the story line in any way .
In other words they were completely and utterly useless !

The movie is  classified as an action/sci-fi/thriller  film but it can also pass as a horror film  due to the strange alien serpent-like monsters attacking every thing in their path .

so i guess it's a good movie . i'd give 2 and a half stars .

Deadly Friends

So i just watched this movie on MBC 2 , and i have to say i was more than impressed !

it's called Deadly Friends .

The film talks about 17 year-old Andrew , a messed up person since childhood and his family friend Nancy Eaton .

You see since his childhood Andrew has shown violent behavior and has expressed his need to be loved.

He believed that no one loved him and frankly his parents weren't that helpful . But they did take him to tones of doctors . and none of them were able to cure him in fact every doctor presented a different explanation to his condition . Andrew claims to hear voices , to have this great energy inside of him , a bad kind of energy .

His  parents kicked him out several times , his girlfriend left him but  he didn't completely crack till he had a fight with Nancy . that night he took a huge knife and stabbed her 21 times then he tried to kill himself but the police caught him before he could .

he was imprisoned .

i actually feel bad for Andrew , i don't think that anyone actually tried to  understand him , no one really tried to help him . he's a sick teenager and everyone just shut him off !

even the doctors shut him off .

and now he has to feel guilty for the rest of his life .

Andrew is not a bad guy ! he's psychologically unstable , he just needed to feel loved . 

and no one gave him that .

Final Destination

Final Destination , pretty much a series of movies . yea i know their not knew but neither is most of the movies i review . anyway if you haven't seen these movies yet . don't . well i mean you're free to  watch them if you want but i wouldn't advise you to .  Don't get be wrong the idea is , well :  COOOOOL !!!
Cheating death ... Death is a presence ... signs ... all that stuff is awesome !
the idea is original and great but the thing is the death scenes are too bloody and gross and well vomit inducing .
I Know that in a horror movie i should expect some blood but this movie just like others like Piranha is way  too much ! i couldn't sleep for a week after  i watched Piranha . no not because i was scared but because the death  scenes emotionally scared me ! at least in Final Destination there's a story line ! in Piranha more than half the movie was just of people getting killed in the ugliest of ways !

anyway back to Final Destination , the idea is awesome but the gross scenes ruined the movie .
a Horror movie is supposed to scare people not get them sick to their stomachs !
i'm just saying there's a difference between scary and gross .

Journey 2 the mysterious island

So by now , i'm sure everyone's already watched this amazing movie. 

although i think the movie would've been a lot better without Vanessa Hudgens , it still is an amazing success.

I honestly don't mean to hate on Vanessa but i simply don't think she can act , Selena Gomez would've been much better for this movie .

anyway the story is super cool ! and super original ! i mean reversing the laws of physics ?!

that's one heck of an idea ! i enjoyed watching dwarf-elephants and titan sized bees very much .

watching this movie is fun ! just fun !

the special effects are beyond awesome !!!

but there is one thing other then Vanessa that bothered me about the movie and that's the last line :

"let's have an adventure "

i mean seriously it's a little corny !

and still the movie is wonderful !!!!

so if you haven't seen it yet you absolutely must buy it and watch it !
